FANKOM Engineering is an engineering company established in Ankara in 2008. Since its establishment, it has provided consultancy services on electro-mechanical design, structural analysis in many different R&D projects. Two years later, Fankom became a reseller of Autodesk suite and FlowVision HPC. This allowed Fankom to support its customers starting from early design phases to virtual prototyping. In beginning of 2015 company has decided focus on robotics, informatics, automation and digitalization. Fankom is still one of the largest resellers of Medividia's (formerly Capvidia) FlowVision HPC software suite, providing tailored solution approaches and consultancy in computational fluid dynamics and fluid structure interaction simulations.
Apart from providing support and services to its customers in digital engineering workflows related to manufacturing and CAx, Fankom has increased its presence in the development of unique hardware robotic systems. In power assisted robotic systems, Fankom focuses on load cells, force control, motor driving techniques and embedded software, hardware and mechanical designs for sub-systems; provides engineering solutions to OEMs. On the other hand, under the umbrella of informatics, it also provides technical services to the leading companies of the sector on system integration solutions, cyber security, network design and configuration.
FANKOM Engineering develops original technologies within its fields of expertise in an original way and collaborates with the best in class SMEs and consultants while conducting privately or publicly funded R&D projects. Fankom has successfully completed more than 100 projects that contribute the customer/public with unique technological outcomes.

FANKOM Engineering Quality Management System has been established in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Standard in order to meet customer requirements beyond their expectations. The effectiveness of the FANKOM Engineering Quality Management System is constantly monitored and evaluated. The products developed and the processes applied throughout the project life cycle are carried out in a systematic and disciplined structure in line with national/international standards related to contracts; compliance with the determined requirements and plans is ensured.

Our Leadership
Sinan Soganci, co-founder: Graduated from METU's Mechanical Engineering Department in 2008 and completed his MBA successfully in year 2016. Managed reseller relationships and worked on the promotion the represented software in EMEA and conducted various CFD projects for FANKOM's customers. Sinan is still instructing CFD classes in cooperation with UCTEA Chamber of Mechanical Engineers and contributing as vice president and board member to International Building Performance Simulation Association since the beginning of 2018.
Selim Kartal, co-founder: Selim completed mechanical engineering program at METU in 2005 and worked at one of the largest defense subcontractors in Turkiye for 3 years before starting FANKOM. Selim has been the head of CFD account management at FANKOM, including pre-sales pilot studies and continued support with methodological developments for solving new CFD problems encountered on site. Selim has been a member of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers since 2010.
